Turakina Māori Girls College to stay in Māori hands

The land that was previously used for Turakina Māori Girls' School will be staying in Māori hands. The school was closed down in 2016, but it was announced today that Te Rūnanga o Ngā Wairiki - Ngāti Apa will purchase the land for the tribe's administration and health services.
